Franziska Haas is an interaction designer and usability engineer currently situated in Munich. She loves nerdy software-related design and secretly staring at pixels while they are being rendered.
She's also enthusiastic about...
the Munich design community. One of her favourite events is Munich Design Jam, founded by Rachel I. Simpson. After taking part a couple of times she helped to organise and host a jam at designaffairs offices last July (2015).
Franziska won 2nd place at the "Immersive Computing Hackathon" hosted by Münchner Webwoche, together with former colleague Laura Foltin. They drafted an x-ray application which uses virtual reality to assist patients and hospital staff. Read the interview about AR/VR here.
Franziska previously worked and learned at
designaffairs GmbH, Munich
Syndicate Design, Hamburg
Lufthansa Technical Training, Hamburg
IKEA Visual Marketing and Communication, Munich
Munich University of Applied Sciences, Munich
University of New South Wales, Sydney
Technical University Munich, Munich
One of her life's goals is to learn a defining sentence in each language out there (fine, as many as possible...)! So far she knows at least one sentence in: Swedish, Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, one of the many Cameroonian dialects, French, Spanish, ...
